By trade Amanda Ward works in the film industry in
areas such as model making, sculpture, and props and has worked on such titles as Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Charlie
and the Chocolate Factory and the upcoming Wolfman and Prince of Persia films. It was during one of the inevitable ‘between
work’ periods that accompany being a freelance worker that Amanda got back into her artwork. A fellow guild member spotted
her work in a local art café and tracked her down and invited her to join the Guild. Alongside her figurative paintings Amanda
also sculpts, specializing in movie collectables. This year she is hoping to step her work up a gear and start exploring new
styles and content….watch this space.
